… with my first e-mail campaign.
After almost 6 months of learning, experimenting and testing with e-mail service providers, to gather insights on what makes a campaign effective, I finally sent out my first campaign.
The moment I clicked on ‘send’ it felt like the whole world had come to a standstill, watching and tracking every step the campaign would go through…
Well, not really.
For a lot of people this might be a normal, every day occurrence. To those, I’d say, remember your first campaign eons ago? The excitement while designing it, testing it and finally getting the nod to send it?
Thanks to technology, it is now easy to track the performance of campaigns which adds to one’s insight basket.
But that’s not the point.
The point is that a new year has begun and with it, a new project (for me) has begun too! 🙂
For everything we do, there’s always a first time and the first time somehow is always more memorable than all the others that follow.
